Quick note about Conque

Just read the press release announcing Clint Conque's new 5-year contract.

This was the right thing to do. Conque has done a wonderful job guiding the football program at UCA and I think he's the right man for the job as the Bears enter the transition to Division I-AA.

Locking the guy up until 2010 is a good move too, because he is probably one of the better young coaches in America. He has proven he can run an offense in DI, he's not a bad guy to have around leading your football program.
