I don't think I'm alone in saying this, but for one of the greatest overall NCAA Tournaments I've ever seen the Final Four was pretty dull.
I mean, maybe that's to be expected when there's no No. 1 seeds in the thing and a No. 11 seed in it.
But I had hope that it would be a pretty solid Final Four. Even though I had that hope, I wasn't too confident that it would be any good.
Maybe it's just 'cause I didn't really have anyone to root for. I didn't care about any of the teams. I sort of jumped on the George Mason bandwagon, mainly just because it would be a great story. GMU probably was my favorite team in the Final Four.
I don't care about the whole, 'cause I'm from Arkansas I should root for the SEC thing. I don't like LSU or Florida, I don't care who they play... so I'm not rooting for them. I really don't care anything about the Bruins either. So by the default I was sort of stuck with George Mason.
Oh well... I guess it's time to get geared up for some NBA playoffs, which is the next time I will pay really close attention to the sports world, maybe that final four will be better.
