For the second weekend in a row I've got to prepare for the possibility of winter weather.

This is just great. Last weekend I felt pretty certain that I was going to be OK. I think I nailed that projection. It's hard to get a read on it this week. It's definitely been cold enough this week for something nasty to happen.

According to weather.com just a few minutes ago there's an 80 percent chance for a wintry mix. Now, here's where it gets tough. That either means, we'll get 12 feet of snow or a little rain or sleet.

Basically, there's no way their prediction is going to be right. It'll be one extreme or the other, I figure.

So I'm not going to make any bold predictions on my weather situation this weekend. I'm just going to sit back, enjoy my finally fixed heat situation and deal with whatever Mother Nature brings Springdale.

Besides, it's tough to really ruin my weekends anyway since I work.

And how 'bout some playoff picks?

I'm going to say Saints by 3. Patriots by a touchdown.

That's the signal for all of you gamblers to go put money on Chicago and Indy.

Alright, that's enough of this. I need to prepare myself for the 12 feet of snow.
