Here’s something I’ve learned this fall: when attempting to work, go on frequent bike rides, do some fun stuff here and there, and maintain a blog, something’s got to give. For me it was the blog, as you can probably see.
But, I have been riding a lot (albeit mostly short rides, which you can peruse using that handy Strava widget on my homepage). I even rode in the Big Dam Bridge 100 (I did the 100K). I intended to give a full blow-by-blow report of the ride, but have failed to do so. Quite frankly, I’ve probably forgotten all the details of that event by now. I do remember it was a blast.
Now things have slowed down on the work front and I’m going to try and do a little catching up. The riding has been pretty uneventful. My increased work during the fall also results in a lot of rides covering the same ground every week. Can’t afford to just get lost and spend hours in the bike when I’ve got projects piled up.
Because of the lack of riding updates, my catch-up posts will mostly be design-related. Enjoy and stay tuned for more frequent and exciting posts ahead. I know all three of my readers are excited.
